Success comes with its own challenges. For a corporate executive, a new role often means new responsibilities, new performance goals and new teams to manage. The very moment you’re moving forward or celebrating a professional advancement can be the same moment your strengths and skills are being tested.
In periods of change and transition, a coach serves as an advocate and partner to help you overcome obstacles, develop new skills and achieve your objectives. An ongoing partnership with an executive coach helps you stay focused and aligned with your intentions – in and out of the office.
Drawing on 30 years of experience in corporate leadership and my expertise in the Baldrige Excellence Framework, I help driven business executives like you learn to lead with purpose and advance with excellence.
In my career with Boeing, I had the privilege of supporting executives across divisions to define and achieve their personal and professional goals. No matter their specialization, I learned that the strongest leaders are those who take the time to assess where they’ve been and where they’re headed, while also improving their organization’s success. When planning for performance, it’s important to gain perspective on how far you’ve come, and what strengths and skills will help you advance and lead into the future.
Often, the very attributes that helped you to advance no longer serve you in getting to where you want to go. Coming up through the ranks, you may have been rewarded for standing out, while your new position requires you to be a team player. Or perhaps you’ve been promoted because you know how to do what needs doing, and now you’re being asked to delegate to others. Your communication, presentation, interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence may have greater importance in your career than ever before.
Coaching helps you see your strengths, define areas for improvement, and set a clear structure to achieve success and perform at a world-class level.
Random acts of improvement can get you a little farther down the line toward achieving your goals. But if you’re a leader who wants sustainable success, that’s not enough. If you aspire to take your career to a new level, achieve a greater degree of performance, or make real change for yourself, your team and your organization, a holistic, process-oriented approach is crucial. I provide a strategic framework that allows you to focus and align your energy and efforts to achieve well-defined goals.
This helps me get to know you – your passions, purpose, values and leadership style.

Debbie brings a wealth of professional experience which gave our executive team valuable perspective and keen insights for improvement. Her calm demeanor and positive, relational approach made us feel at ease while building trust. We are better now because of Debbie's efforts. I highly recommend her for executive coaching.
President and CEO, Endeavors

President, Jordan Johnson, Inc.
Without exception, Debbie made herself a trusted adviser to her bosses and peers at Boeing. She was my coach for many years, and it’s fair to say she is one of the best coaches I've ever worked with. I strongly recommend Debbie to anyone looking for a coach to help them reach the next level.
Vice President, Material Services, Boeing (Ret.)
Working with and around Debbie Collard for more than 20 years has taught me a great deal. Debbie's unique ability to get leaders, individually or in groups to rise to a higher level of thinking and a higher level of performance than they ever thought possible for themselves... And then translate that into dramatic performance improvement in their organizations. This teaches us much about who Debbie is and why she is continuously successful.
Chairman Emeritus, The Belgard Group of Companies
Leadership and performance have been the focus of my career from the beginning. In more than 30 years with The Boeing Company, I served multiple divisions in director roles encompassing business excellence, quality improvement, supply chain management, strategy integration, program management and business operations.
From leading organizational performance improvements for multiple Boeing Space and Defense divisions, to implementing business operations efforts in Boeing’s Commercial Airplanes division, to leading program management integration efforts across the Boeing Company, I’ve worked with a wide range of executives to develop strategies, reach milestones and celebrate achievements. My work has resulted in several quality awards for the organization, twice including the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award - once in service and once in manufacturing.
Throughout my career, I’ve maintained a commitment to my family without compromise – a choice that has allowed me to meet my own potential with balance and integrity.
I served on the National Baldrige Foundation Board of Directors for 15 years, and held multiple positions, including as the first female Chair of the Board in the Foundation’s 30 years of existence. I also served on the Board of Directors for the California Council for Excellence, including serving as Chair of the Board. I earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in organization development (MSOD) from Pepperdine University. I am married and have twin daughters who are now college graduates with their own careers. I’m a certified professional coach (CPC) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and am also a member of ICF.
